B. Design —Cheri reported that Nancy Waldrum has been working hard on the trash can and <br />bench fundraiser. Also, the c'tee wants to update the Downtown brochure and has a new design. <br />C. Promotions- Karie Raulston reported that Wine fest ticket sales are brisk. The c'tee wants the <br />entire downtown involved and so the date was moved to Saturday and hours extended. Other <br />businesses may have finger foods to entice folks to wander in. The Main Street Easter event at the <br />Maxey House will be Sat April 12. Many fun events such as Easter egg hunt, scavenger hunt and <br />egg toss. The scavenger hunt will include historical hints to make it educational and fun. Tours of <br />Maxey House will be available. MiP movies are set and plans are moving along. <br />D. ER — Matt Coyle- No meeting this month, but Chris Dux will take over as chairperson. <br />F. Chamber report — Becky Semple reported that many events are happening in Paris!! The main <br />news is that the TX Downtown Assoc. will have its Regional Roundtable in Paris on 4/22 and our <br />Chamber employees will be featured due to the success of our Shop Local Event. Special thanks to <br />the Archers for Christ group that worked very hard to clean up our ice storm damage and to raise <br />funds to pave a road in the trail area to get the grounds into shape for the Archery tournament in <br />April. <br />7. Future agenda item: Fundraising for a possible restroom in the Methodist Church parking lot <br />Cheri announced a Downtown Forum on 3/27 in council chambers 6:30 -8:00 p.m. <br />8.
