Shiloh, Lot 10, Block 5, Colonial Addition <br />There were no comments from the audience concerning this property. <br /> <br />Brad Archer made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1000 per day civil penalty if the building was not demolished <br />within the 30 days. Lucius Joe, Jr seconded the motion. The motion <br />carried unanimously <br /> <br />717 SE 23ra, Lot 26, and Part of 25, block 2, Stellrose Addition <br />Mr. Kenemore was present and he discussed his plans to repair the <br />property. Mr. Kenemore also stated that the building burned over a year <br />ago and the insurance settlement had been used to purchase a new home. <br />Mr. Kenemore also made mention of his back condition and asked that the <br />Commission grant him the opportunity to work on the building for 90 days <br />and return before the Commission to show his progress. Mr. Kenemore <br />also asked that no civil penalties be assessed. The Commission expressed <br />concern that this could set a precedent for other cases, and given the <br />number of properties to be reviewed the Commission felt this was <br />inappropriate. <br /> <br />Pike Burkhart made a motion that the building be repaired or demolished <br />within 60 days with a $1000 per day civil penalty if the building was not <br />repaired or demolished within the 60 days. Brad Archer seconded the <br />motion. The motion carried unanimously <br /> <br />5.
