ORDINANCE NO. 2000.038 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONWG ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF 1'HE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE SOUNDARIES FSTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CI1'Y; ESTABLISHING A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRiCT - MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL (PDtl) AND OFFICE CENTER (PD-f) ON PART OF LOT 14, CITY BLOCK 259, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO H& W INVESTMENTS, SO A5 TO INCLLiDE THEREW TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONEFAMII.Y DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIFS OF THE PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT - MEDICAL CENTER AND HOSPITAL (PDd) AND OFFICE CENTER (PD-f) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED S29000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCFS OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONF'LICT HIItEWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2000. WHEREAS, ihe City Couacil of the Ciry of Paris, Pazis, Texas, has previously received a request for an amendment to the zoning ordinance of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, the Ciry Council has subsequently refened said request for amendment to the Planning and Zoning Commission for iu roview and recommendation in accordance with the City zoning ordinance and State law; and, WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission did conduct a public hearing on said pmposed amendment to the City wning ordinance and, following said hearing, made formal recommendation to the Ciry Council regazding said proposed change; and, WHEREAS, the Ciry Council of the City of Paris did subsequendy conduct a public hearing on the aforesaid pmposed amendment tothe City zoning ordinance, and having considered the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and the testimony and evidence introduced at said public hearing, found and determined that approving the aforesaid zotring change would be consistent with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paris, consistent with the City wning ordinance, and in the best interests and to the benefit of the public health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Paris; NOW, TIiEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C11'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Sedion 1.
