E. 360 NW 14th; City of Paris, Block 230, Lot 4 Owner: Lynn Stone 5070 Sunset View Paris, TX 75462 Taxes owed: $646.33 The owner contacted Robert and wants to repair the structure. Robert Talley stated the structure is unsecure, broken windows, roof buckling, shingles coming off, deteriorating and rotting of roof line, a tree's growing in the roof, foundation damage, roof sagging, and this includes the shed in the back. Robert Talley's recommendation: Repair within 90 days. Motion was made by Chris Brown, seconded by Zac Saffle to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 7 -0 F. 1345 Graham St.; City of Paris, Block 191, Lot 25 Owner; Grove Trust JL Moore Trustee 813 Simmons Dr. Euless, TX 76040 Taxes owed: $2726.58 No contact with the owner. Robert Talley stated the structure has deteriorating roof line, lumber on porch, broken windows, unsecure, deteriorating and missing wood, back has decking only, tin coming loose, and shed has holes in roof. Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. Motion was made by Jon McFadden, seconded by Wendell Moore to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 7 -0 H. 2667 Graham, Sperry's 3rd Addition, block 2, Lot N Pt 15 Owner: Mary Joe and Vickie Young 520 S Bois'd Ace Blossom, TX 75416 Taxes owed: $2983.37 Robert Talley spoke with owner's sister and her daughter is buying the property and asked for 90 days to repair the structure. Robert stated that there's deteriorating and missing wood, a tree has fallen on the house, roof is sagging, foundation deterioration, has exposed pipes and missing and deteriorating siding, unsecure, and has broken windows. Robert Talley's recommendation: Repair within 90 days. Motion was made by Johnny Norris, seconded by Chris Brown to accept Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 7 -0 4. Code Enforcement update. (1.) Mr. Wilson questioned the 2013 structure that has not been completed. He asked for an up to date report for the next meeting to see how many structure are still waiting to be demolished. If the number is large he feels that the Building and Standard commission should hold off on placing orders for demolition until they are caught up.
