MINUTES <br />Monday, November 24, 2003 Meeting <br />Historic Preservation Commission <br />City of Paris, Texas <br />Applied Technologies Building, Room 1206 <br />Paris Junior College, 2400 Clarksville Street <br />Item One: The meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, at 4:05 PM. <br />Item Two: The roll was called by Paul Denney, Recording Secretary. The following Commission <br />members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett <br />Paul Denney <br />Claudia Hunt <br />Jerry Raper <br />Sue Lancaster <br />Becki Norment <br />The following Commission members were absent: <br />Ann Rogers <br />Brian Wear <br />Barbara Wilson <br />The following guests were present: <br />Armand Frank <br />Rodney Flippen <br />Hunter Moore <br />Karol Lyn Moore <br />Harold B. O'Brien <br />Susy Harper <br />A quorum was present. <br />Item Three: Minutes from the September 22, 2003 meeting and October 27, 2003 meeting were <br />presented for approval. Sue Lancaster put forth a motion to approve the September 22, 2003 minutes as <br />read. Becki Norment seconded the motion and the motion passed unanimously. Becki Norment made a <br />motion that the October 27, 2003 minutes be approved as read. Paul Denney seconded the motion and the <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />Item Four: The date for the December meeting was discussed. No formal action was taken on this item. <br />Item Five: Four properties considered dangerous by the City of Paris code inspectors were presented <br />for review by the Commission as to rehabilitation and historical designation.
