Ellis was being <br />reappointed for a term of three (3) years. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Weekly and was seconded by Mayor Pro <br />Tem McCarthy. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution 2004-044, appointing a member to the Library Advisory Board to <br />serve the unexpired term of Vicki Terlap, which expires June 30, 2004, and <br />Joyce Kennemer, which expires June 30, 2006, was presented. City Manager <br />Malone stated that Carl Lucas was recommended to serve the unexpired term <br />ofVicki Terlap and Deborah Hatley was recommended to served the unexpired <br />term of Joyce Kennemer. <br /> <br />Councilwoman Neeley made a motion to approve the resolution, which was <br />seconded by Councilman Weekly. The motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution 2004-045, appointing an alternate member to the Building and <br />Standards Commission of the City of Paris to serve the unexpired term of Billy <br />Hill, which expires June 30, 2004, was presented. City Manager Malone said <br />Greg Wilson was recommended to fill the vacancy. <br /> <br />A motion to accept the resolution was made by Councilwoman Neeley. <br />Councilman Bell seconded the motion and it passed 7 ayes to 0 nays. <br /> <br />Resolution 2004-046, appointing members to the Paris-Lamar County Board of <br />Health and making other findings and provisions related to the subject, was <br />presented. City Manager Malone said these appointments were to fill the <br />expired terms ofVicki Bonham, Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. Caroline Wilson, Dr. <br />Ed Clark, and Dr. Gordon B. Strom, Jr., as members. It was recommended that <br />Vicki Bonham, Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. Caroline Wilson, and Dr. Gordon B. <br />Strom, Jr., be reappointed and that Dr. David Carpenter and Rae Jackson be <br />appointed for terms ending December 31, 2004. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Bell and was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem <br />McCarthy.
