<br />Executive Search Proposal <br />City of Paris <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />Other Service Options <br /> <br />Upon request, the Consultant will negotiate other arrangements that meet the City's budget and <br />service needs. <br /> <br />Search Services <br /> <br />The services for a full search will include: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Initial on-site meetings with the Mayor, City Council, Interim City Manager, Human Re- <br />sources staff and key management staff to collect information and finalize the recruitment <br />process and to determine the dates for subsequent meetings. <br /> <br />Develop a position profile that will be submitted to the City Council for approval prior to <br />printing. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Publish job notices in selected professional publications and on the Internet, including <br />Ralph Andersen & Associates' home page. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Candidate outreach and identification that is the main focus of our recruitment effort. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Paper screening of applicants at the close of the recruitment phase. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Recommend approximately ten (10) to twelve (12) candidates from the respective candi- <br />date pools that will be in the Focus Group. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant interviews in person or by telephone, as needed, all candidates in the Focus <br />Group. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant conducts reference checks on all candidates in the Focus Group. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant develops a "Candidate Report" for the recruitment on all candidates in the Fo- <br />cus Group. After receiving recommendations from the Consultant, the City Council se- <br />lects five to seven finalist candidates for the City Manager position. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant coordinates interviews of finalist candidates including the initial and follow- <br />up interviews with the Mayor and City Council. A member of the Consultant team at- <br />tends all interviews. <br /> <br />. Consultant assists the City Council in negotiating a compensation package and employ- <br />ment agreement with the top candidate, upon request. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consultant closes out the search by returning appropriate documents to the City Council <br />and follow-up letters to all applicants notifying them of the conclusion of the search. <br />
