On-Site Meetings During a typical city manager recruitment, several on-site meetings will occur: . "Kick off" meeting - To initiate the project, Mr. Rohre will travel to Paris to meet with appropriate individuals to develop the recruitment profile. . "Focus Group" meeting - Soon after the application closing date, the consultant will meet with the City Council to review the focus group. . "Recommended finalists" meeting - The consultant will again meet with the City Council to describe the individuals recommended for interview by the City Council. "Candidate interviews" - The consultant will be on-site during the City Counei1's inter- views of the finalist candidates. . "Follow-up interviews" - If requested, the consultant will attend any follow-up inter- views with candidates. Project Timing and Cost Typically, a search of this nature takes approximately 90 - 95 days from the project kick-off to the presentation of finalists. Ralph Andersen & Assoeiates is prepared to work with the City of Paris to accelerate this search effort, if necessary. Candidates will be identified within a reason- able period of time to ensure the integrity of the search. The cost to perform the full search for the City Manager will be a fixed fee of $13,500 for pro- fessional services. Expenses are estimated at $6,250 for a regional (Texas and surrounding states) focused search. The recruitment, as proposed, will be a regional search effort and will in- clude a detailed and comprehensive interview process. This quote for expenses does not include the cost of bringing the finalist candidates to Paris for interviews. The City of Paris will reim- burse the candidates directly for these expenses. Expenses will be billed based on actual incurred costs. Determination and authorization of the extent of consultant travel necessary to interview candidates will be reviewed by the City Coun- cil at the appropriate time in the search process. Reimbursable items include advertising, con- sultant travel and subsistence, long distance telephone and facsimile charges, printing and repro- duction, clerical and postage/shipping. Ralph Andersen & Associates will bill monthly; progress payments for professional services and expense reimbursement will be due upon receipt. Adver- tisements will be invoiced directly to the City of Paris.
