The <br />Individual selected will have proven <br /> <br />experience as a local government <br /> <br />manager or administrator, ideally in a <br />community with municipally owned <br /> <br />utilities, and have a solid understanding <br />of the public process. Technical skills in <br /> <br />the areas of government finance and <br />budgeting, human resources, and <br /> <br />information technology are desired. A <br />bachelor's degree in public or business <br /> <br />administration or a related field is <br /> <br />required; a master's degree is preferred. <br /> <br />The Compensation <br /> <br />The City of Gillette is offering an attrac- <br />tive salary range between $85,000 and <br /> <br />$100,000 depending upon qualifications <br />of the individual selected. In addition, <br /> <br />benefits include: <br /> <br />Retirement: City contributes 11.25% <br />employer and employee share to <br /> <br />Wyoming Retirement Program. <br /> <br />Deferred Compensation: Available <br />through Wyoming Deferred Compensa- <br /> <br />tion and ICMA Retirement. <br /> <br />Medical and Dental Insurance: Provided <br /> <br />by City for employee and dependents <br />Flexible 8enefit Plan available. <br /> <br />Life Insurance: $50,000 term policy. <br /> <br />Long-Term Disability: provided by City. <br /> <br />Leave: 2 weeks paid vacation leave; 12 <br />sick days per year; 8 paid holidays annually; <br /> <br />Selection Process <br /> <br />Once the filing date has passed, re- <br />sumes will be screened against the <br /> <br />candidate profile.
