MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY JULY 9, 2014 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The meeting of the Historic Preservation Commission was called to order at 12:05 p.m. by <br />Vice Chair Douglas Cox. <br />A. The following commissioners were present: Vice Chair Douglas Cox, Michael <br />Glatfelter, Beatrice Ardila, Cindy Allcorn, Sherrie Holbert, and Ruth Ann <br />Alsobrook. <br />B. Lauri Redus was absent. <br />C. Staff also present: Joey Sleeper, Historic Preservation Officer; Triniti Frazier, <br />Permit Technician. <br />2. Election of officers <br />• Chair <br />Douglas Cox was nominated by Commissioner Holbert and seconded by <br />Commissioner Glatfelter. <br />• Vice Chair <br />Michael Glatfelter was nominated by Vice Chair Cox and seconded by Commissioner <br />Holbert. <br />• Secretary <br />Cindy Allcorn was nominated by Vice Chair Cox and seconded by Commissioner <br />Holbert. <br />All nominations passed by a single vote of 6 -0. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (May 14, 2014) <br />Motion was made by Vice Chair Glatfelter and seconded by Commissioner Alsobrook <br />to approve the minutes as written. The motion carried 6 -0. <br />4. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. City Hall window replacement, 135 1St SE, City of Paris <br />Chair Cox introduced the item and Mr. Sleeper explained that the project was a <br />continuation of a project approved under a previous Certificate of Appropriateness. <br />Mr. Sleeper further explained that the current project would match the design and <br />materials of the previous project.
