Consideration of and action on the following resolutions: A. Approving and authorizing the Regional Controlled Substance Apprehension Program Drug Task Force to solicit bids for the competitive sale of firearms and otherweapons confiscated as a result of the task force's drug interdiction activity, authorizing the solicitation and acceptance of competitive bids from registered, licensed Federal Firearms Dealers only. B. Approving and authorizing the execution of Amendment No. 2 to Texas Community Development Program Contract No. 719068 with the Office of Rural Community Affairs. C. Declaring certain personal property surplus and approving an Auctioneer Service Agreement. D. Approving and authoring an application for a grant from the U. S. Department of Justice, Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, for funding under the Cops in Schools Grant Program to provide funding for salary and benefits for a school resource officerfor Chisum High School. E. Authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Texas Historical Commission for a Certified Local Government Grant to partially fund the completion of an updated Historic Resource Survey of the City of Paris. F. Declaring surplus a set of used mechanical scales as part of the abandoned equipment in the UARCO building and authorizing transfer of said scales to the Texas Department of Corrections, Buster Cole State Jail in Bonham, Texas in return for demolition assistance by inmates.
