Mary Davenport, 1350 W. Houston Street, spoke in opposition of the petition. Mrs. <br />Davenport stated she had concerns if the commission allowed this mobile home to <br />be placed at 1838 Maple Avenue it might attract more mobile homes in the area. <br />Sue Lancaster, 1020 Bonham Street, spoke in opposition of the petition. Mrs. <br />Lancaster stated allowing this mobile home would be a step in the wrong direction. <br />Margie Bell, Paris, Texas, Holland Harper read her letter into the record in <br />opposition of the petition. Mrs. Bell has concerns about the up keep on the mobile <br />home and the market value on the neighborhood might decrease. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by John Lee, seconded by Mike Folmar to deny the petition.
