called for a motion and Mr. Sleeper explained that the motion would need to specify that the <br />property meets one or more of the seven criteria in Section 7-155 (b) of the Paris Code or <br />Ordinances. A motion was made by Commissioner Alsobrook to recommend designation of <br />the property as historically significant by specifically meeting criteria 1, 2, 3, 6, and 7 of <br />Section 7 -155. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Allcorn and carried by a vote of <br />4 -0. <br />4. Discussion and possible action on one or more subcommittees to make recommendations on <br />materials and products used in historic districts. <br />Chair Cox introduced the item and asked for volunteers for the subcommittee. <br />Commissioners Holbert and Allcorn agreed to serve on the subcommittee, and Chair Cox <br />said that Vice Chair Glatfelter had previously agreed to serve. The Chair instructed that the <br />subcommittee would meet at a time and place of their choice and report back to the <br />Commission at a future meeting. No action was taken. <br />5. Discussion Items <br />A. Treatment of historic structures scheduled for demolition. <br />Nothing was discussed and no action was taken. <br />B. Continued discussion on murals <br />Chair Cox and Mr. Sleeper suggested that a thorough set of guidelines be established and <br />included in the Design Standards for the Historic Districts. The item was further discussed <br />and no action was taken. <br />6. Future Agenda Items <br />Chair Cox requested future items to discuss the treatment of historic structures scheduled for <br />demolition, and to hear a report from the subcommittee. The Chair also suggested a future item <br />to discuss a possible change in the meeting day and time of the Commission. No action was <br />taken. <br />7. Adjournment <br />With no other matters to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Holbert and <br />seconded by Commissioner Allcorn.
