developers to review the documents listed to optimize both man —made and natural <br />environmental elements to protect eco— systems and structures of historic /cultural <br />importance, and to meet legal requirements regarding environmental protections. <br />Part C. — Purposes of each Subzone — This Planned Development zoning is comprised of <br />five separate subzones. The purpose of each subzone is described so that the <br />development and business communities, citizens, staff, and the planning and zoning <br />commission and city council can better appreciate what the physical development intent <br />is for the entirety of each subzone. This provides a basis for evaluating land use requests <br />for uses that are currently unlisted or to be created in the future. It also aids in the <br />refinement of developments that are currently permitted and/or that require a Special Use <br />Permit. <br />Part D. — Actual Ordinance Regulations — This is the heart of this ordinance. It indicates <br />land uses that are permitted, not permitted, or which require a Special Use Permit. It also <br />states requirements that address protection of life and /or property. The Goals and <br />Objectives in Part A have established the justification for allowing or disallowing (or <br />SDP's) many of the land uses in this ordinance. <br />Exhibits — These maps illustrate the five sub —zones of this ordinance, and graphically <br />portray their relationship to each other, and to their immediate environs. <br />Appendices — This information provides noise evaluation criteria; illustrations from the <br />Cox Field Master Plan to relate to this proposed zoning ordinance; and sources from the <br />Federal Aviation Administration that will help applicants in their development process. <br />The Airport Advisory Board was very pleased with Alan Efrussy presentation. <br />5. Discussion and possible action regarding the 2014 Fly -In at the Cox Field Airport. <br />The Airport Advisory Board discussed the issues regarding funding for the 2014 Fly -In. <br />Motion was made by Ray Ball, seconded by Chris Fitzgerald to cancel the Fly -In for 2014 <br />and looking into possible dates in 2015. <br />6 Request for future agenda items.
