Robert Talley stated that this structure was brought before the Building and <br />Standards Commission in September and was given 30 days to make a plan to <br />repair and sale the structure. Robert hasn't heard from the property owner since. <br />There's roof damage, foundation damage, the structure is leaning to the west, <br />buckling, lots of junk and rubbish and inside damage. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 30 days to demolish if not the City has the <br />right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil penalty. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughn, seconded by Jon McFadden to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6 -0 <br />C. 285 W Neagle; Subdivision of Blk 170 -B, Block B, Lot 6 <br />Owner: Gaspar Sanchez 3160 Margaret Paris, TX 75460 <br />Back Taxes Owed: $512.97 <br />Owner is deceased but contact has been made with TK Hanes Mr. Sanchez's <br />father in law. Mr. Hanes agrees the structure needs to be demolished and has <br />asked for 90 days to have it done. <br />Mr. Talley stated that wood is missing, there are holes in the ceiling, exposed <br />wiring and plumbing, there's mold, trees have busted the window and the roof is <br />leaking. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: 90 days to demolish and 10 days to secure <br />if not the City have the right to demolish and apply a $1000 per day civil <br />penalty. <br />Motion was made by Jon McFadden, seconded by Chad Lindsey to accept <br />Robert Talley's recommendation.
