Jon McFadden <br />seconded and the motion carried 6 ayes to 0 nays. <br />Mr. Atkins was advised this was only a recommendation to the City Council <br />and they would have the final say on the matter. <br />Next, a request for Stop Signs on NW 28th Street at West Campbell Street, <br />stopping North and South bound traffic on 28th at Campbell was considered. <br />After learning that there had been one accident reported at this intersection <br />during the past two (2) years and that tall weeds and grass had been <br />mentioned as a contributing factor and that Police Chief Karl Louis had <br />recommended the placement of the signs George Kimbrough made a motion <br />to recommend the signs as requested.
