MINUTES <br />TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />Tuesday, February 6, 1996 <br />5:15 o'clock P.M. <br />Council Room - City Hall <br />Paris, Texas <br />The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, February 6, 1996, <br />with the following members present: <br />1. Charles Thompson <br />2. Ricky Mackey <br />3. George Robinson <br />4. Pamela Campbell <br />5. Mary Lane <br />The City Staff was represented by Assistant Chief James Barnett. <br />Chairman George Robinson called the meeting to order at 5:22 P.M. when <br />a Quarum was present. <br />The Minutes of the October 3, 1995 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />The requests for Stop Signs at the following locations were discussed, <br />1. On 26th NE at E. Cherry Street stopping Southbound traffic on <br />26th Street at E. Cherry Street. <br />2. On Aspen Street at FM 195 stopping Northbound traffic on Aspen <br />at FM 195. <br />3. On Levi Lane at Stillhouse Road stopping Westbound traffic on <br />Levi at Stillhouse. <br />4. On 10th NE at Levi Lane stopping Southbound traffic on 10th NE <br />at Levi Lane. <br />5. On 11th NE at Levi Lane stopping Southbound traffic on 11th NE <br />at Levi Lane. <br />Charles Thompson made a motion that these requests be combined and <br />considered in a single motion.. Mary Lane seconded and the motion <br />carried 5 ayes to 0 nays. <br />After discussion Mary Lane made a motion to recommend that the Stop <br />Signs be placed as requested. Pam Campbell seconded and the motion <br />carried 5 ayes to 0 nays. <br />There being no furth business the meeting adjourned at 5:28 P.M. <br />ames Barnett <br />Assistant Chief of Police <br />
