MI <br />TRAFFIC NCOMMISSION <br />Tuesday, February 5, 1991 <br />5:15 o'clock P.M. <br />City Hall = :Council Room <br />Paris, Texas <br />The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, February 5, 1991, with the fol- <br />lowing members present: <br />1. Tom Kolko 4. Judy Lutz <br />2. Charlie Thompson 5. Ed Ellis <br />3. David Gilbert <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:21 P.M. with Chairman Kolko presiding. <br />The minutes of the September 4, 1990 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />A request for Stop Signs at the following locations were considered, <br />1. <br />8th NE at East Hickory <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />South <br />on 8th NE <br />at Hickory) <br />2. <br />28th SW at West Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />West <br />on Kaufman <br />at 28th S14) <br />3. <br />29th SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />North <br />and South <br />on 29th at <br />Kaufman) <br />4. <br />30th SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />North <br />on 30th at <br />Kaufman) <br />5. <br />31st SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />North <br />and South <br />on 31st at <br />Kaufman) <br />6. <br />32nd SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />North <br />on 32nd at <br />Kaufman) <br />7. <br />33rd SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />North <br />and South <br />on 33rd at <br />Kaufman) <br />8. <br />34th SW and West <br />Kaufman <br />(stopping traffic <br />from the <br />East <br />on Kaufman <br />at 34th SW) <br />Charlie Thompson made a motion to combine all the requests. David Gilbert seconded and <br />the motion carried 5 ayes to 0 nays. <br />After discussion Judy Lutz made a motion to recommend all the Stop Signs be placed as <br />requested.
