MINUTES <br />TRAFFIC COMMISSION <br />TUESDAY, JUNE 6, 1989 <br />COUNCIL ROOM - CITY HALL <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Traffic Commission met in regular session Tuesday, June 6, 1989 with <br />the following members present: <br />1. Frank Sherman 4. Tom Kolko <br />2. Gerald Byas 5. Judy Lutz <br />3. Wayne Fletcher 6. Charlie Thompson <br />The City Staff was represented by Assistant Police Chief James Barnett. <br />The meeting was called "to order by Chairman Gerald Byas at 5:20 P.M. <br />The Minutes of the May 2, 1989 meeting were approved as submitted. <br />Fisrt considered was a request for Stop Signs stopping East and West <br />bound traffic on East Cherry Street at Fitzhugh Avenue. After discussion <br />Judy Lutz made a motion to place the signs as requested. Charlie Thompson <br />seconded and the motion carried 6 ayes to 0 nays. <br />Second a request for No Parking Anytime signes on 19th N.W. prohibiting <br />parking on the West side of the street from the 2000 thru the 2500 blocks <br />of 19th N.W. After discussion Frank Sherman made a motion to make that <br />area a No Parking Zone as requested. Wayne Fletcher seconded and the <br />motion carried 6 ayes to 0 nays. <br />There being no furthur business the meeting adjourned at 5:27 P.M. <br />Aames Barnett <br />Assistant Chief of Police <br />
