Mrs. Hayter said all 20 tables had been sold for the <br />October 11 book review lunch at the Paris Golf and Country <br />Club, with a few not yet paid. She said the Friends <br />needed help in decorating the tables. She explained <br />finances included the $15 cost of tickets, with $8 going <br />to PGCC for food; $50 for the transportation of the <br />speaker from Dallas, with $250 for her fee, which would <br />leave about $1,100 for profit. She asked for suggestions <br />for 1992 spring program and Ms. Lewis recommended Jean <br />Robert Wood whose books A Train To Estelline and A Place <br />Called Sweet Shrub would be good, for they are about <br />Bonham. <br />Mrs. Gibbs moved the $34 membership fee in the American <br />Library Association for the Chairman be paid from the <br />Library Board funds, motion seconded, and passed. <br />Joe Rex moved the October meeting be changed to October <br />23, motion seconded, and passed. <br />Ms. Lewis will attend the September 28 Texas Library <br />Association District Conference in Tyler, and Thomas Seay <br />will attend the October 4 meeting of NETLS in Pittsburg. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:50 PM. <br />(A7 <br />Date Appr d Frances Ellis, Secretary <br />
