Ms. Lewis announced January 22 as the volunteer <br />recognition event in the Gallery and Jackie Alsobrook <br />moved the event have a catered meal and funds to pay for <br />this come out of the Money Market Account. Motion <br />seconded and passed. Joe Rex moved the "Post It Note <br />Carrier" be ordered as gifts, costing $1.50 each, with <br />possibly 30 volunteers being present. Motion seconded, <br />discussed, and passed. <br />Jean Gibson moved 500 plastic adult book bags and 500 <br />children's book bags be ordered and the Money Market <br />Account fund pay for them. Motion seconded, discussed, <br />and passed. <br />Ms. Lewis said December would be the amnesty month for <br />overdue library materials and the book bags would be <br />handed out during the month, also. <br />Thomas Seay commented that more books were being given to <br />the Library for honorariums or for birthday gifts. <br />Bill Hagood said the Library Endowment Funds had earned <br />$6,669 interest. <br />The next meeting will be December 18. <br />.
