Library Advisory Board <br />July 22, 2004 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE LIBRARY <br />ADVISORY BOARD <br />July 22, 2004 <br />The Paris Public Library Advisory Board met in regular session Thursday, <br />July 22, 2004, at 4:00 PM in the Library with Chairman Nancee Salzman <br />presiding. The following Board members were present: Anna Davis, <br />Sarah Gambill, Carl Lucas, Nancee Salzman, and Jake Street. Also <br />attending was Priscilla McAnally, Assistant Library Director. Jackie <br />Alsobrook, Deborah Hatley, Bill Kennedy, Walter Williams and Callie <br />Thompson, Friends' President did not attend. <br />The minutes from the June meeting were approved with one correction. <br />The number of children attending the programs was corrected from 207 to <br />227. <br />It was reported that there is no library director as yet. <br />The budget report was favorable. <br />June circulation statistics were up 4.3% from last June. Program <br />attendance was down 2.2 %. Children's programming had 16 programs <br />with 746 children and 275 adults attending. In the Summer Mobile <br />Outreach, 45 programs were held with 899 children attending and 254 <br />adults. <br />In adult outreach, there was 1 program which 7 people attended. There <br />were 21 interlibrary loans. We had 20 memorials given for a total of <br />$520.00. <br />In the Assistant Director's Report, Priscilla reported that things were <br />going smoothly in the library. A thank you note from Betty Landon was <br />read. <br />
