MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />CITY COUNCIL TASK FORCE ON CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TUESDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2007 <br />Call meeting order and roll call. <br />The City Council Task Force on Code Enforcement was called to order by Chairman Wilson <br />at 5:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Don Wilson, Chairman <br />Steve Brown <br />Will Biard <br />Bruce Frazier <br />Jim Lassiter <br />Don B. Taylor <br />Charles Richards <br />John S. House <br />Marilyn Bellevance <br />Pete Kampfer <br />Charles Fulbright <br />Bee Gannon <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Oscar Johnson <br />Jerome Pipkins <br />Chris Brown <br />Cheryt Moore <br />Zachary Saffle <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development; Kent McIlyar, <br />City Attorney; Kevin Carruth, City Manager; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Todd Varner, <br />Code Enforcement Officer; Robert Talley, Code Enforcement Officer; John Lestock, <br />Assistant City Attorney /Municipal Court Prosecutor; Ronnie Grooms, Fire Chief; <br />Karl Louis, Police Chief, and Matt Birch, Police Officer. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings (October 16, 2007). <br />Chairman Wilson referred the Committee to page two of the minutes of October 16 ' , <br />wherein it was stated that Charles Richards made a motion to limit the message to eight seconds. <br />Chairman Wilson said the motion was seconded by Don Taylor, not himself. Subject to the <br />correction, a Motion to approve the minutes was made by Will Biard and seconded by Don Taylor. <br />
