3. Continued discussion of and possible action on recommending the adoption of a <br />comprehensive parking ordinance. <br />Section 10 -110 Paving Standards <br />A. Surfacing <br />The Task Force added: Asphalt, paving stones, or accepted paving. <br />Delete: except for single family. <br />B. okay <br />C. Maintenance <br />Remove "cracks." <br />D. Surface exception <br />The Task Force agreed to remove state, local, and national" to "a ribbon driveway..." <br />If anyone has gravel it has to be repaired and maintained with dust free gravel in the <br />future. <br />Section 10 -111 Use of parking areas <br />(b). The Task Force left the wording to the City Attorney to eliminate exceptions and <br />prohibit front yard parking. Once the City Attorney has re- worded this, it needs to come <br />back to the Committee. <br />(c). The Task Force would like the City Attorney to clarify this wording to ensure it is not <br />intended to apply to streets. <br />(d). The Task Force added a provision for no 18 wheelers. <br />4. Discussion of and possible action on recommending revision to Chapter 31, Traffic, <br />Article IV, Stopping, Standing and Parking. <br />Section 31 -81 <br />(b). The Task Force added a section regulating the parking of recreational vehicles along <br />streets. <br />Sections 31 -82 and 31 -83.1 were approved as presented. <br />Section 31.81 <br />(b) Add "utility" prior to "trailer" in the second line. <br />Section 31.83.1 was approved as presented. <br />
