REGULAR MEETING <br />WATER TREATMENT PLANT AND WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT CHANGE ORDER <br />AND FINAL CHANGE ORDER REVIEW COMMITTEE, CITY OF PARIS <br />July 13, 1987 <br />The Water Treatment Plant and Wastewater Treatment Plant Change Order <br />and Final Change Order Review Committee met in Special session, Monday, <br />July 13, 1987, 10:00 A.M. Council chamber, City Hall. Chairman Bone <br />called the meeting to order with the following members present: Eric <br />Clifford, and Curtis Fendley. Also present were City Manager, Michael <br />E. Malone, City Attorney T. K. Haynes, and City Clerk, Mattie <br />Cunningham. <br />Chairman Bone called for discussion on Change Order No. 2 to contract <br />with Four Thirteen, Inc., for the 1985 Wastewater Treatment Plant <br />Improvements. <br />John Buss, Consultant Engineer, appeared before the Committee giving <br />background of the Contract with Four Thirteen, Inc. Mr. Buss stated <br />that the contract will be complete upon accepting the pending 6 items <br />as follows: <br />1. Install Seal Water System for Grit Pump <br />2. Modify Piping from grit concentrator to <br />screen <br />3. Install safety railing and grating over <br />pista grit <br />4. Install auto - restart on effluent pumps <br />5. Install air conditioner in MCC room <br />Total Change Order No. 2 <br />$2,800.00 <br />$2,700.00 <br />$3,150.00 <br />$1,700.00 <br />$3,100.00 <br />$13,450.00 <br />Mr. Buss stated that the City's share of the $13,450.00 would be <br />$4,775.00 and Anheuser Busch portion would be $8,675.00. Discussion <br />was had regarding the acceptance of the change order by Anheuser Busch <br />with the Committee. Mr. Buss told the Council that Jim Martin who has <br />been working with the City on site agrees that the change order is <br />necessary. <br />City Attorney advised that Committee that it may take approximately six <br />week to get an answer from Anheuser Busch, and that we do not want to <br />send them something that we have not approved. <br />After further discussion, the Committee agreed to recommend to the <br />Council that Change Order No. 2 to the Contract with Four Thirteen, <br />Inc. be accepted. <br />Chairman Bone announced that the next item on the Agenda was discussion <br />of Change Order No. 10 to Additions to Water Treatment Plant. <br />
