Mr. <br />Reed questioned the calibration of the meters, stating it is the large <br />meters that is possibly causing the major problems. <br />Herb Campbell advised that the meters at the Water Treatment Plant is <br />calibrated twice a year, that Campbell Soup calibrates their meter one <br />time a year. Herb discussed the process of his departments reading <br />meters and the meters that Public Works reads. <br />Mr. Reed said one of the problem could be in the billing end of the <br />process, and they plan to research the program, and see if there is a <br />problem in the software, if it is permissible with the Committee. <br />The Committee was in agreement to allow Mr. Reed to research the City's <br />water billing software. <br />Mr. Reed discussed commercial customers, and contracts for water <br />service with the Committee, and told the Committee there is definitely <br />going to be a rate increase. <br />There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. <br />BILLY JOE BURNETT, CHAIRMAN <br />ATTEST: <br />MATTIE CUNNINGHAM, CITY CLERK <br />
