Reallocation of flood control storage in Pat Mayse. Meet with Corps by June 26th to <br />discuss possibilities related to this option. Input on this option from Jim Matthews by May <br />29th. <br />Engineering opinion on safe yield possibly available from this source by October 23rd <br />• Summarize and present estimated available safe yield from all sources in 10 year increments beginning 2008 <br />and including 2010 thru 2060, by October 23rd meeting. <br />2. Develop timely and supportable data about the City's current and future water supply demand <br />and commitments. <br />• Review State Water Plan 50 -year projections for population growth for Lamar and Red River County. <br />Projections should be provided by City staff for discussion at June 13 meeting. <br />• Review and discuss State Water Plan projections for municipal /industrial /steam electric /mining use for Lamar <br />and Red River counties. Projections should be provided by City staff for discussion at June 26 meeting. This <br />may also include input from local institutional, industrial, or heavy commercial users regard future water <br />needs. <br />• Review and discuss State Water Plan projections for agriculture and irrigation uses in Lamar and Red River <br />Counties. This should include input from local state /federal agriculture departments at the July 17th meeting. <br />• Review and discuss any environmental /recreational constraints on Pat Mayse or other sources at July 31St <br />meeting. Which factors affect the lake level significantly, and what degree of elevation change affects <br />recreational /aesthetic qualities? <br />• Determine peak demand needs as well as average demand needs. <br />• Evaporative loss <br />• Summarize and develop consensus regard City's 50 year Water demands and commitments by the <br />August 28 meeting. <br />3. Develop an understanding of Irving's needs and planning. <br />• Water from Paris, Hugo. Any other sources? <br />• Any planning Irving wants to share with the committee. <br />• Presentation from Irving for the August 14 meeting. <br />4. Develop an understanding of the market value of any water supply that we may consider excess <br />• Presentation by our rate consultants for the September 11 meeting. <br />• Current Metroplex rates. <br />• Other possible customers for any excess'supply <br />5. Develop recommendation to City Council. Meetings November 6 and 20. <br />• Submit report to the December 8 Council meeting. <br />
