Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to <br />determine whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on the <br />National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, or as historic <br />property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Code Enforcement recommends demolition of the following structures: <br />A. <br />1662 S Main Street <br />B. <br />320 W Neagle Street <br />C. <br />625 SW 3rd <br />D. <br />1144 SW 5d' <br />E. <br />1006 NW 13th <br />F. <br />335 E Sherman Street <br />G. <br />325 E Sherman Street <br />H. <br />534 E Sherman Street <br />I. <br />560 E Washington <br />J. <br />724 Cedar Street <br />A motion was made by Vice Chair Cox and seconded by Commissioner Glatfelter to <br />recommend demolition of the structures to the Building and Standards Commission. The <br />motion carried 7 -0. <br />6. Future Agenda Item <br />Mr. Sleeper suggested a future agenda item about staff reviewing certificates of <br />appropriateness for signs up to 50 square feet in area in lieu of commission approval. Vice <br />Chair Cox requested a future discussion item to allow wood -grain patterned side in <br />historic districts. No action was taken. <br />7. Grant presentation to Scott McDowell at 2 West Plaza. <br />With the exception of Commissioner Anderson, the commission reconvened to 2 West <br />Plaza to attend the presentation. No action was taken. <br />8. Adjournment <br />With no other matters to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made by Commissioner Stewart <br />and seconded by Vice Chair Cox.
