MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2011 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, <br />Chairman at 12:00 p.m. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Douglas Cox <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Nancy Anderson <br />David Stewart <br />Britin Bostick <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Paul Denney, Vice - Chairman <br />C. Also present Cheri Bedford, Main Street Manager; and Jeanna Scott, Historic <br />Preservation Officer. <br />2. Approve previous meeting minutes. (October 12, 2011; November 9, 2011) <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Britin Bostick to approve the meeting <br />minutes for October 12, 2011 and November 9, 2011. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Douglas Cox to recuse Britin Bostick <br />from item 3A. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />3. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 208 South Main — Bois d ' Arc Restaurant — Britin Bostick presented the petition. <br />Ms. Bostick stated they want to keep fence color to match the adjacent building. <br />The color will be applied to the front and back fences. Motion was made by Ben <br />Vaughan, seconded by Douglas Cox to approve the COA. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Nancy Anderson to return Britin <br />Bostick to the meeting. Motion carried 5 -0. <br />C. 1212 n Street N. E. —,4 T & T Building — Matt Good, AT & T representative; and <br />Tony Saunders Bran- Sayers Architect presented the petition. Mr. Saunders stated <br />they are proposing adding new equipment to keep in line with back up services <br />needed for the public. The installation of the new equipment will require <br />
