Barbara Wilson, seconded by Beck! Norment. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />C. 124 N. Main Street - Paul Denney. Motion was made to recuse Paul <br />Denney from consideration of this COA by Barbara Wilson, seconded <br />by Jerry Raper. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Paul Denney stated that he may close on the building on December 31 <br />and put in a loft apartment. This is Phase I to secure the building. The <br />sales contract requires for the work to be done in 6 months. Paul's first <br />priority is to redo the front of the building and bring it up to SOI <br />standards. Enclosed in the packet are several pictures and Phase I <br />scope of work. Also included is a proposed layout for the front <br />windows. Mr. Denney is asking for approval of the preliminary design <br />concept. The design concept has to be presented to the seller and it <br />could change. There are two different door designs. Mr. Denney would <br />like approval for both options so that he can present that to the seller <br />of the property. Motion was made to approve the COA by Sue <br />Lancaster, seconded by Brian Wear. Motion carried 7 -0. <br />Motion was made by Barbara Wilson, seconded by Jerry Raper for Paul <br />Denney to return to the meeting. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. 2 Clarksville Street, 6 Clarksville Street, and 115 S. Main Street - Becki <br />Norment. Motion was made to recuse Becki Norment by Brian Wear, <br />seconded by Barbara Wilson. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Becki Norment stated that she sent photos to the Texas Main Street for <br />their ideas and suggestions for the facade. Enclosed in the packet <br />were the pictures and response of Main Street. A drawing by the <br />contractor, Aaron Raper, was handed out. Ms. Norment decided to <br />leave the inset as is. The plexiglass will be replaced with plain glass. <br />Ms. Norment is seeking approval only on the west side of the building. <br />The front and side will not need to match since they are two different <br />buildings. Motion was made to approve the COA by Jerry Raper, <br />seconded by Paul Denney. Motion carried by a vote of 6 -0. <br />Consideration of the canopy, on the west side only, will come later. <br />Motion for Becki Norment to return to the meeting was made by Paul <br />Denney, seconded by Brian Wear.
