A PARIS -LAMAR COUNTY HEALTH BOARD MINUTES The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health met on September 18, 1990, at 7:00 A.M. at the Holiday Inn. Board members present were: Rev. Evans, Dr. Bercher, Dr. Strom, Mrs. Norment, Mrs. Ellis, Dr. Lut- trell, Dr. Kraft, and Dr. Brooks. Others present were: T.K. Haynes, Michael Malone, Gene Anderson, Lorrin Scott, Dr. Fetner, and Sharon Seals. Dr. Bercher called the meeting to order at 7:15 A.M. The minutes from the last meeting were read by Sharon Seals and then approved. Lorrin Scott stated that a noon meeting was held last week with Pete Patterson. Dr. Randall called from Austin inquiring about our proposed expansion program. Region 7 will not be going to Delta county any longer. Dr. Bercher suggested that Lorrin and Dr. Fetner send out letters to the various counties informing them of our services and small fees. Lorrin mentioned that we keep a daily logbook listing each patient's - name, addrdss, - ane'r- service req esteiir '��'t -s- a°�lVs z 1 know were our patients are coming from. Dr. Bercher suggested that Dr. Fetner, Lorrin, and T.K. arrange a meeting with Latricia Miller to discuss how funds are spent on Indigent Health Care. Dr. Kraft made a motion that this meeting be arranged. Rev. Evans seconded the motion. All in. favor. Motion passed. Dr. Fetner stated that the City received a $ 3,000.00 refund check on her insurance. We are having staff meetings bi- weekly. Our appoint- ment system is working well. We also see some walk -in sick people every day. The first Parenting Class went well Thursday at Paris High School. Anthony Bethel passed out the monthly report. He said our State Contracts came in Friday and we may receive less money for the coming year. The next board meeting was set for October 16, 1990 at 7:00 A.M. at the Holiday Inn.
