PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />MINUTES OF MEETING <br />The Paris-Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on October 12, 1993. Those in attendance included <br />Dr. Cutrell, Dr. Moseley, Dr. McLemore, Rev. Evans. <br />Others in attendance included Mike Malone; T. K. Haynes, <br />Deane Loughmiller, Latricia Miller, Gene Anderson, Dr. <br />Beachley, Charles Beachley III, Anthony Bethel, Jae <br />Dickinson and Barbra Frances. <br />The Jail review started at 7:15- <br />Dr. Cutrell said the purpose of this meeting was not to <br />decide whether a consultation is needed but to look at any <br />problems. Dr. Cutrell also said he would like to <br />recommend helping Dr. Beachley develop a consultation <br />request form stating how limited or extensive the <br />consultations should be. <br />Dr. Cutrell would like a copy of the formulary sent to all <br />the physicians on the board. <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:40. <br />The minutes of the previous meeting were read and <br />approved. <br />Anthony told the board what happened at the Facilities <br />Work Group meeting for the Lamar County Rural Health <br />Clinic held September 28, 1993. Anthony said the members <br />on that work group found the wiring in the current <br />building completely inadequate. They also think the <br />building has asbestos in it and the building is too small. <br />Dr. Cutrell said that the State has money available to <br />lease a building and to do interior remodeling. <br />Dr. Cutrell read the minutes from the Transportation Work <br />Group meeting for the Rural Health Clinic held September, <br />23, 1993 and talked about what had happened at the Funding <br />Work Group meeting held October 06, 1993. <br />DiscuSsion of Dr. Beachley rescinding his resignation. <br />Dr. Cutrell suggested keeping Dr. Beachley through the end <br />of his contract which is August 31, 1994 as long as things <br />remain agreeable between all parties involved. <br />
