The first would be to consolidate this position with the
vacant nurse position. The second option would be to hire
an LVW and a Nurse Educator. If the first option is
chosen, thepe would be one RN that would work full time up
front, one LVN to work half of her time in the water lab
and half of her time up front and one Nurse Educator to
work 2/3 of her time in this position and the rest of the
time up front.
Anthony gave a report for the facilities work group
regarding lead levels and asbestos in the Health
Department. The lead levels are fine. Regarding
asbestos, the ceiling tiles are fine but there is asbestos
W the duct work.
Anthony made his monthly report. The Health Department
would like to be able to fine restaurants and grocery
stores for repeat violation. The question was asked
about putting names of establishments in the paper.
Anthony said we would have to ask T.K. about the
legalities. Mrs. Norment make a motion to ask T.K. to
draw up an ordinance to fine eating establishments after
repeat violations. Mrs. Ellis seconded. All were in
favor.
Dr. Cutrell wanted to remind everyone that next month new
officers mould need to be chosen. This needs to be put on
the agenda.
The meeting adjourned at 8:05. The next meeting is to be
held Tuesday, December 14, 1993 at 7:00 AM at the Holiday
Inn.
Respectfully submitted,
~
J Dickinson
Approved by Dr. Cutrel]
