M I N U T E S OF M E E T I N G <br />PARIS-LAMA:R COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, September 20th, 1995, at the Holiday <br />Inn of Paris. Board members in attendance included Dr. <br />Robert Moseley, Dr. David Brock, Mrs. Anne Norment, and <br />Mrs. Francis Ellis. Others in attendance included Mr. <br />Mike Malone, Mr. T.11. Haynes, Mr. Troy Owens, Mr. Alan <br />Weatherford., Mr. Mike Norby, Mr. Anthony Bethel, Mr. Bob <br />Ricks, Mrs, LaDonna Koehn, and Mrs, Barbra Francis, <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:19 am, and a quorum <br />was established. Minutes of the previous meeting Were <br />approved. <br />Under discussion of the Intermediate Vare position at the <br />Health Department, Mr. Haynes informed the Board that <br />paying $24.58 per hour with total benefits works out to be <br />the same as $29.00 With no benefits. Paying $29.00 per <br />hour with a total benef its package would bring the total <br />hourly figure up to $34.20 per hour. In the past the <br />amount paid per hour with benefits came to ;35.63. The <br />position Was filled on an interim basis at .",,29.00 per <br />hour. <br />Dr. Brock disCussed the- Health Department doing physical <br />exams for Early Childhood Development students saying that <br />it might be passible to bill $40.00 per physical. Dr. <br />Brock made a motion that was seconded by Mrs. Norment that <br />the Health Department perform physical examination; for <br />the general public as long as the Health Department has <br />the manpower to do so. The motion carried. <br />The meeting Went into IirCeCLit'v'e session to discuss the <br />Intermediate Care 'rov;:der position and Medical Director <br />position at the Health Department at 7:39 am. The meeting <br />came out of Executive session at 8.02 am and back into <br />regular session. Mrs. 1,14orment made a motion that Was <br />seconded by Dr. Brock that Mr. Haynes, Mr. Bethel, and Mr. <br />Anderson draw up a contract With What ever Was necessary <br />to hire La-Donna Koehn for the Intermediate Care Provider <br />position. The motion carried. Dr. Brock made a motion <br />that was seconded by Mrs. Norment to renew Dr. Woodruff': <br />contract as Medical Director for the Health Department. <br />The motion carried. <br />Mr. Bethel passed out monthly reports and the next meeting <br />was scheduled for Wednesday, November 15th at 7:00 am at <br />the Holiday Inca.
