PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />MINUTES OF MEETING <br />The Paris-Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, November 15, 1995, at the Holiday <br />Inn in Paris. Board members present included Dr. Charles <br />Tarvin, Dr. David Brock, Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. Bert <br />Strom, Dr. Wally Kraft, Mrs. Ann Norment, and Mrs. Francis <br />Ellis. Others in attendance included Gene Anderson, Troy <br />Owens, Alan Weatherford, Mrs. Latricia Miller, Anthony <br />Bethel, Bob Ricks, Mike Norby, Barbra Francis, and Gary <br />Conwell. <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:06 am, and Dr. Strom <br />made a motion that was seconded by Dr. Tarvin that minutes <br />from the previous meeting be approved. The motion <br />carried. <br />Under discussion of the contract for the Intermediate Care <br />Provider position for the Health Department, Anthony <br />advised the Board that the contract would be for $29.00 <br />per hour for a 30 hour week, with 10 days for continuing <br />education which must be approved by the Board, and two <br />weeks vacation per year. Dr, Strom made a motion that was <br />seconded by Mrs. Norment to approve the contract. The <br />motion carried. <br />Anthony passed out monthly reports for September 1995 and <br />October 1995. Anthony advised the Board that a team from <br />the State Health Department will be at the Health <br />Department on Friday, December 1st, for technical <br />assistance to the Health Department. <br />The next meeting was scheduled for 7:00 am, January 10, <br />1996 at the Holiday Inn. <br />The meeting adjourned at 7:40 am. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Bob Ricks <br />
