MINUTES OF MEETING <br />PARIS-LAMAR COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />The Paris-Lamar County Board of Health held it's regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, February 20th, 1996, at St. Joseph's <br />Hospital. Board members in attendance included Dr. <br />Charles Tarvin, Dr. Robert Moseley, Dr. Bert Strom, Dr. <br />Wally Kraft, Mrs. Ann Norment, and Mrs. Francis Ellis. <br />Others in attendance included Mr. T.K. Haynes, Mr. Mike <br />Malone, Mr. Gene Anderson, Judge Chuck Superville, Mr. <br />Troy Owens, Mr. Alan Weatherford, Mrs. Latricia Miller, <br />Mr. Anthony Bethel, Mr. Bob Ricks, Mr. Mike Norby, Mrs. <br />Barbra Francis, Mr. Derald Bulls, Ms. Susan Walliser, and <br />Mrs. LaDonna Koehn. <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:13 am, and the <br />minutes from the previous meeting were approved. <br />Under discussion of the replacement of the Medical <br />Director for the Health Department, the committee <br />recommended that this item be tabled until the next board <br />meeting. <br />The committee appointed to investigate the allegations <br />made by Sara Fatherly reported that they investigated all <br />allegations and felt that no actions were needed at this <br />time. Dr. Tarvin suggested that a questionnaire be sent <br />out with return postage to clients regarding the services <br />received at the clinic. <br />Under discussion of remodeling the front counter area, <br />Anthony presented one bid in the amount of $2995.00, and <br />Dr. Kraft suggested that Anthony get more bids. Troy <br />Owens suggested that Anthony get in contact with Larry <br />Jordan with the Probation Department and try to utilize <br />their services. <br />Anthony passed out monthly reports for December 1995, and <br />January, 1996. Anthony informed the Board that LaDonna <br />was interested in attending a training seminar in Dallas <br />on HIV, and a OBIGYN seminar in Colorado later this year. <br />The board requested more information on the seminar in <br />Colorado. Dr. Strom recommended that a letter be sent-, to <br />the area physicians regarding the referral of HIV <br />patients. <br />The next a - meetin was scheduled for Wednesday, March 20th, <br />at 7:00 am at M6Cuistion Reg.
