MINUTES OF MEETING <br />The Paris-Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, November 25, 1998, at St. Joseph's <br />Hospital. Board members in attendance included Dr. Robert <br />Moseley, Dr. Bert Strom, Dr. Caroline Wilson, and Mrs. Ann <br />Norment. Others in attendance included Mr. Mike Malone, <br />Judge Chuck Superville, Mr. Gary Conwell, Mr, Paul Swasko, <br />Mrs. LaDonna Koehn, Mr. Anthony Bethel, and Mr. Bob Ricks. <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:11 am, and the <br />minutes of the previous meeting were approved. <br />Under discussion of lab tests, Mr. Bethel advised the <br />Board that Labcorp did negotiate pricing on tests and are <br />a little less expensive now. Dr. Strom talked about <br />limiting lab tests that can be performed through the <br />Health Department. Dr. Strom stated that we needed to <br />include the cost of drug screens for the city and county <br />in the budget next year. Dr. Strom made a motion that was <br />seconded by Mrs. Norment- that Anthony provide <br />4. the amounts <br />written off for the city and county in previous years to <br />the city and county. The iilvtioTl carried. Dr. Strom also <br />discussed hepatitis C with the board. <br />Mr. Swas-ko talkcd to the Board about, the t-obacco <br />Sett -leTtLent monies and how the could be spent by the <br />county. <br />Anthony passed out monthly-reports for September and <br />October.
