MINUTES OF MEETING <br />PARIS- LAMAR. COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH <br />The Paris -Lamar County Board of Health held its regular <br />meeting on Wednesday, February 24, 1999, at McCuistion <br />Regional Medical Center. Board members present included <br />Dr. Ed Clark, Dr. Bert Strom, Dr. Caroline Wilson, Mrs <br />Ann Norment and Dr. Robert Moseley. GLLLCll L., Lr. . %_ ark <br />presented the Board with information he had gathered <br />regarding the money that Tamar County will- receive from <br />the tobacco lawsuit settlement. Dr. Clark suggested that <br />the Board Send a letter to the Cormmissioners and Count— <br />r <br />judge r and also the Paris News regarding the way that the <br />money is proposed to be spent in Tamar County. The motion carried. Dr. <br />Mosel e ,Yr suggested that a letter be in.clulded with the first <br />hit l to explain :•:hy this action :•:aS taken . <br />Mr. ronwel1 discussed the Community Health Council with <br />the Boars statinrr the --u-1^ose of the Council :•las to <br />identify health concerns of the community and address how <br />to solve these concerns.
