COX FIELD AIRPORT PARIS, TEXAS The Airport Advisor; ?hoard r°.et in regular session Tuesday, January= 31, 1978 at 7:00 O'clock p.m. in the terminal building at Cox. Firld Airport with the following; members present: 1. Rick Rex 3. Dr. Mann 2. Bill Boothe !T. J. Collier The meeting was calledd to order by Chairman, Rick Rex. Minutes of the previous meeting• were read and approved. The agenda was as follows: 1. Progress of the runway overlay was discussed. The drain pipe has been installed and the hump is in the process of being removed.. Expansion joints have been removed and the overlay is proceeding on schedule. 2. A discussion was held on T- hangar ccnstruction sites. It was noted that five more requests have been received for hangars and at nresent there are none available. Bill Boothe moved that the nresent area designated for future terminal oa.rkin€ be re -desirnated for future hangar construction and the airport master plan. be amended accordingl'. The motion was seconded by Dr. Mann. The vote was unanimous. 3. 'he Airport Board requests the City Engineers provide the Board with a scale drawin E of It- to 1001 from the west road to the North -South taxiway to include all present leases and improvements. LL. Dr. Mann moved that 'Ietro Airline's rental fee for -their portion of the terminal building, be set at $.40 per square foot of office and counter space used per month. The square footage is 4761 which amounts to $,190.00 per month. This also.includes utilities, janitorial service, and access to the entire terminal building; with the exception of the airport manaoerls office. It is recomi,, ended this lease be for a period of one year corrmenc i ng; March 1, 1978 and ending; Feb. 28, 1979 and that the rental rate be re- negotiated at the end of this lease. The motion was seconded by Bill, Boothe and voted unaninously.
