Firld Airport with the following; members <br />present: <br />1. Rick Rex 3. Dr. Mann <br />2. Bill Boothe !T. J. Collier <br />The meeting was calledd to order by Chairman, Rick Rex. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting• were read and approved. <br />The agenda was as follows: <br />1. Progress of the runway overlay was discussed. The <br />drain pipe has been installed and the hump is in the <br />process of being removed.. Expansion joints have been <br />removed and the overlay is proceeding on schedule. <br />2. A discussion was held on T- hangar ccnstruction sites. <br />It was noted that five more requests have been received <br />for hangars and at nresent there are none available. <br />Bill Boothe moved that the nresent area designated for <br />future terminal oa.rkin€ be re -desirnated for future <br />hangar construction and the airport master plan. be <br />amended accordingl'. The motion was seconded by Dr. Mann. <br />The vote was unanimous. <br />3. 'he Airport Board requests the City Engineers provide <br />the Board with a scale drawin E of It- to 1001 from <br />the west road to the North -South taxiway to include <br />all present leases and improvements. <br />LL. Dr. Mann moved that 'Ietro Airline's rental fee for <br />-their portion of the terminal building, be set at $.40 <br />per square foot of office and counter space used per <br />month. The square footage is 4761 which amounts to <br />$,190.00 per month. This also.includes utilities, <br />janitorial service, and access to the entire terminal <br />building; with the exception of the airport manaoerls <br />office. It is recomi,, ended this lease be for a period <br />of one year corrmenc i ng; March 1, 1978 and ending; Feb. <br />28, 1979 and that the rental rate be re- negotiated <br />at the end of this lease. The motion was seconded by <br />Bill, Boothe and voted unaninously. <br />
