MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, DECEMBER 29, 1977 <br />7:00 O'CLOCK P. M. <br />COX FIELD AIRPORT <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />-'t <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session Tuesday, December 29, 1977 <br />at 7:00 o'clock p.m. in the terminal building at Cox Field Airport with the <br />following members present: <br />1. Bruce Carr 3. Rick Rex <br />2. Bill Boothe <br />Also in attendance at the meeting were Jim Collier, Airport Manager, Bill <br />Howard and Dr. Hunnicutt. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Rick Rex. <br />Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved. <br />The agenda was as follows: <br />1. Bill Boothe was elected secretary to replace Bruce Carr. <br />2. Nothing has been started on the Runway Overlay as yet. <br />3. The new heating and air conditioning of the Terminal Building will start <br />December 29. <br />4. Hangar leasing was discussed. The Board agreed that there was an <br />immediate need for at least 10 open type hangars at the present time. <br />5. Mr. Bill Howard suggested a tie -down cable be placed on the front ramp <br />so that more aircraft may be tied down. He also stated that he would <br />supply the cable. Mr. Carr moved that the cable be installed, second <br />by Boothe - the motion carried. It was hoped the City may be able to <br />help place the cable. <br />Bill Boothe <br />Secretary <br />
