14IN UTFS <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />THTJRSDAY, T7LY' 27, 1978 <br />7:00 Oi CLOCK P.14 . <br />PARIS, T17,-,AS <br />Airport Advisory 'Board Diet in regular session on <br />Thursday, Jul; 27, 1978 at 7:00 '.M. in the terminal <br />building, at Cox Field Airport with the following members <br />present: : <br />1. Rick Rex - Chairman <br />2. 'Bruce Carr <br />3. Dr. Lawrence Mann <br />J[. Bill Boothe <br />vv} <br />Z <br />Also ?resent at the meeting was Jim Collier, Airport I42nager. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rex and the <br />Minutes of the two previous meetings were read and approved. <br />Old Business: <br />A. Final figures on the Runway overlay cost underrun <br />have not yet been provided by the City. The Board <br />will review the cost at the next meeting. <br />B. The motion to construct additional T- hangars was <br />. discussed and was not altered. <br />C. A discussion of a lease of the large hangar to J. <br />Wrenn was held and resulted in the fcillowi.ng motion. <br />Bill Boothe moved that upon approval.,bv. the City' -, <br />Council of the construction of twelve to eighteen <br />open hangars that the City of Paris lease the <br />entire large hangar to J. Wrenn with the stipulation <br />that the present hangared aircraft be permitted to <br />remain in said hangar and the lease of said aircraft <br />be terminated within 30 days of the final construction <br />of additional hangars; that the CitZ? of Paris and <br />transients be allowed continued access to the <br />operations and lounge area until completion of <br />new lounge and operations facilities; said lease <br />to run for 10 rears with a 10 Near option and with <br />an initial rental rate to be determined at a future <br />tine. Votion seconded by Dr. Mann - the vote was <br />vnar li ous . <br />Yew Business: <br />A_._ ':Phe Airport Board recommends that the City: Council <br />authorize the grant application to FAA for construction <br />of the proposed Firehouse. <br />
