MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1978 <br />7:00 O'CLOCK P. M. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in regular session on Thursday, September <br />28, 1978 at 7:00 P.M. in the terminal building at Cox Field Airport with <br />the following members present: <br />1. Rick Rex - Chairman 3. Bill Boothe <br />2. Dr. Lawrence Mann <br />Also present at the meeting was Jim Collier, Airport Manager. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rex. The minutes were not <br />taken at the last meeting due to lack of quorum. <br />Old Business: <br />A. The following has been approved by the City Council: <br />1. $25,000 for construction of Apron for new T- Hangars. <br />2. $40,000 remaining from TAC grant after Runway overlay <br />will be used to extend the Ramp where three hangars <br />are now located. <br />3. $5,000 to recondition present road leading to new <br />T- Hangars. <br />B. The Board is awaiting firm plans from Harrison and Walker Construction <br />Company for the new T- Hangars. When plans are received and reviewed <br />the Board will recommend to the City that bids be called for and con- <br />tracts be let for construction of said hangars. <br />New Business: None <br />There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. <br />Bill Boothe <br />Secretary <br />
