MINUTES <br />AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD <br />TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 1979 <br />7:00 O'CLOCK P. M. <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />The Airport Advisory Board met in regular ^ession in the terminal build- <br />ing at Cox Field Airport on Tuesday, March 27, 1979, at 7:00 P.M. with <br />the following members present: <br />I Rick Rex, Chairman <br />2. James Moseley <br />3. T.D. Mal l i son <br />4. Allie O'Brien <br />5. Joann Ondrovik - Burress <br />Others attending were Ronnie Williams, KPRE news director, and Jim <br />Collier, Airport Manager. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rick Rex, and the minutes <br />from the previous meeting were approved with exception being made as to <br />the mistake citing Mr. Collier as Jim Wilson in item # 2 and 3. <br />Old Business: <br />1. Progress cn T- Hanger, Mr. Collier reported that the site is very <br />wet, hampering construction at this time. However, the sand has been <br />poured for• the foundation. <br />2. Report on Gas Vapor Emission- Controls - these controls will be <br />required in five years of all fuel transports. Basically, it consists <br />of a lock on the hose that pumps the fuel into the tanks and a vent <br />�'w "c to the truck to prevent the v porn from the fuel from escaping. <br />Cost on nnstallation is estimated to be $79.00 per tank. This cost is <br />we'll below the cost of adding this equipment at a later date. Therefore, <br />this system will be included in the estimates. According to Collier, the <br />jet fuel tank can be easily adapted to meet the Vapor Rvovert' Regulations. <br />Collier reported that the City Council approved the plans and specs for <br />the tanks, and bids are expected to be set before the next Council meeting. <br />Jim Collier reported that the lease proposed by Faskin, Waggoner, <br />Singer and Ferguson was approved by the City Council as presented. <br />4. Copies of the deed of the "I rport were given to Dr. Ondrovik- Burress <br />and T.D. Mallison to review for orientation purposes. <br />''th no New Business, the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. <br />
