MINUTES AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 1979 7:00 O'CLOCK P. M. PARIS, TEXAS The Airport Advisory Board met in regular ^ession in the terminal build- ing at Cox Field Airport on Tuesday, March 27, 1979, at 7:00 P.M. with the following members present: I Rick Rex, Chairman 2. James Moseley 3. T.D. Mal l i son 4. Allie O'Brien 5. Joann Ondrovik - Burress Others attending were Ronnie Williams, KPRE news director, and Jim Collier, Airport Manager. The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rick Rex, and the minutes from the previous meeting were approved with exception being made as to the mistake citing Mr. Collier as Jim Wilson in item # 2 and 3. Old Business: 1. Progress cn T- Hanger, Mr. Collier reported that the site is very wet, hampering construction at this time. However, the sand has been poured for• the foundation. 2. Report on Gas Vapor Emission- Controls - these controls will be required in five years of all fuel transports. Basically, it consists of a lock on the hose that pumps the fuel into the tanks and a vent �'w "c to the truck to prevent the v porn from the fuel from escaping. Cost on nnstallation is estimated to be $79.00 per tank. This cost is we'll below the cost of adding this equipment at a later date. Therefore, this system will be included in the estimates. According to Collier, the jet fuel tank can be easily adapted to meet the Vapor Rvovert' Regulations. Collier reported that the City Council approved the plans and specs for the tanks, and bids are expected to be set before the next Council meeting. Jim Collier reported that the lease proposed by Faskin, Waggoner, Singer and Ferguson was approved by the City Council as presented. 4.
