Rick Rex, Chairman 3. Joann <Ondrovik- Burress <br />2. Allie O'Brien <br />Also attending was Jim Collier, Airport Manager. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Rex, and the minutes from the <br />previous meeting were approved as read. <br />Old Business: <br />1. Progress on T- Hanger. Mr. Collier reported that half the slab has been <br />laid and the steel is in. Further work is being delayed until the weather <br />clears further. Mr. Collier stated that Hayter Engineering will assist in <br />the construction. <br />Discussion ensued as to the tearing down and removing of the old hangers <br />(last discussed by the Airport Advisory Board on May, 5, 1975 ) in order <br />to make room for paving and to meet PEA building restrictions. Allie <br />O'Brien moved that the Board recommend that the City Council approve that <br />bids be let for the sale and removal of the three old hangers that the <br />FFA has designated beyond the building restriction limits to be removed <br />within 30 days of the completion of the new T- Hangers with an appropriate <br />cash bond to be provided by the winning bidder (recommended to be at <br />least $500 for all three buildings). Joann Ondrovik- Burress.seconded and the <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />2. Progress report on tank bids -Mr. Collier stated that the plans have <br />been drawn but the specs have not been written. Hayter Engineering will <br />probably have to assist in the compiling of these specs. <br />3. Progress report on the construction of proposed hangers by Faskin et al- <br />No problems are reported as no progress has been reported. <br />4. Other Old Business related to liability insurance, location and <br />feasibility in regards to tie down fees. Rick Rex and Allie O'Brien <br />will research thees issues before the next meeting. Other information <br />is needed concerning: <br />a. Tie down fees of other similarly certified airports; <br />b. Tie down fees in other cities of similar population; <br />c. Deed restrictions, if any. <br />With no new business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned. <br />
