New Business continueds <br />cited the lack of a mechanic service and eating facilities and <br />insufficient and poor services, including the unavailability of <br />sectional maps and inadequacy of furnishings in the main waiting <br />area. Mr. Wright said Board Council members were "penny wise and <br />pound foolish ". <br />POPA members requested and the Board agreed to post a meeting <br />agenda in the airport each month. The Board encouraged regular <br />attendance by POPA representatives at all Board meetings. <br />Mrs Wrenn and Pat Wright recommended changing paving specifications, <br />to eliminate the 1" ledge between hangars and the taxiways, mak- <br />ing the paving flush with no more than a 2" drop in 50 feet(3%) <br />so individual pilots can push their planes in and out of their <br />hangers. <br />Cecil Honeycutt said the pilots are angry that the Mayor did not <br />0--- appoint a pilatothe Board. Mr. Rex stated that James Moseley is <br />a pilot, and a newly appointed Board member. <br />3. <br />T.D. Mallison made a motion that the Board re <br />letter from the City Manager be requested aut <br />members to research similar airport facilitie <br />communities for statistics on return of these <br />This motion was seconded by Joann Ondrovik and passed unanimously. <br />The mot <br />- - -- - -- rr -- -- --- - - - - -- -sly. <br />Majors Aviation of Greenville requests permission for a permit <br />for air taxi and charter operations. The Board determined no <br />action was necessary, and that Majors needed no permit as <br />stipulated by city ordinance. <br />Discuss gasoline pricing policies. Mr. Collier reported <br />that gross profit is 11¢ per gallon as compared to 15.4¢ <br />at local gas stations. <br />Allie O'Brien moved to raise gas price to 15¢ above invoice. <br />The motion was not seconded and no Board recommendation made <br />at this time. <br />z. The review of annual statistical reports on monthly air- <br />port gas sales from Mr. Collier was tabled for reconsideration <br />at next months meeting. <br />With no further business, the meeting adjourned at 10s20 p.m. <br />
