Sandra Ingram's request involves an existing beauty salon In a <br />residence located at 343 20th H.E. and the lot Wediately south which <br />is paved for parking. ha beauty salon has been V thli location for <br />approximatley 12 years, bat zoning was not applied to the property when the <br />present map was adopted in 1965. An expansion of the beauty salon is <br />planned and zoning is needed in order to got a bVidlng permit. There <br />are two other non-confonnIng land uses in thQ sane block; Jordan's Gro- <br />cery and anothenr small beauty shop. <br />Considering the present use of the land In this at ea, s-i�.aff recei,-Mends <br />approval of the request. <br />2. 0. A. Ensey's request for Commercial Zoning on the Loop Invo Wes <br />property located between two tracts presently zonod Commercial. The <br />property just north of the Easey tract Is occupied by the LaRue Ford <br />Tractor Co. <br />The request is reasonable considering the established zoning pattern <br />along the Loop and wa recumnend approval. <br />30 Preliminary Plat, Town East Estates: This plat calls for the east- <br />erly extension of Hoiston Street, between Robin Road and Lamar Avenue,, <br />connecting with 34th Street N.E. Approximately 18 lots are proposed, <br />10 of which cannot meet the minimum 100' lot depth requirement of the Zoning <br />Ordinance. All lots will meet the minimum aina requirement of 7500 sq. ft. <br />but 10 of them would have lot depths of 8505'. <br />A petition was filed by the owner, 0. L. Rainey, ',o the Zoning Board of <br />Adjustment, requesting a variance to the lot depth rzquirement.
