BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS <br />THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 1996 <br />5:15 P.M., CITY HALL ANNEX <br />Members Present: F. D. Mallory Richard Nafe <br />Edith Bills Toni Clem <br />Tommy Gant <br />Members Absent: W. M. Lightfoot <br />Steve Methven was also present at the meeting. <br />A public hearing to consider the petition for a variance to Section 9 -5 -1 <br />(1) of the City of Paris Zoning Ordinance relative to front yard requirements on <br />Lots 2 and 12 of the Yates Estates, located at 1710 and 1715 Majestic Drive. <br />Louis Yates appeared before the Board of Adjustments and explained that <br />the two (2) homes built on Majestic were built five and one -half (5 1/2) foot <br />encroaching into the front yard setback. <br />Mr. Methven stated that no objection had been stated by any of the <br />persons notified and that he would recommend the variance. <br />Mr. Mallory opened the floor for any motion. Richard Nafe made a motion <br />to recommend the variance be granted.
