Division 80 <br />Warehouse - <br />The Finance Director is the administrative official responsible for this division of the <br />Finance Department. Funding for this activity is available through the Water and Sewer <br />Fund as the majority of the supplies maintained are used by the utility related <br />departments and divisions. Division personnel purchase, store, and distribute <br />materials, supplies, and tools used by City departments and divisions. A perpetual <br />inventory system is maintained. <br />Division 81 <br />Utility Billing and Collecting - <br />The Finance Director is the administrative official responsible for this division of the <br />Finance Department. Funding for this activity is available through the Water and Sewer <br />Fund. Employees of this division maintain all water, sewer, sanitation, and prorata <br />accounts. Included in this activity is meter reading and meter rereads, account billing, <br />account collection, service initiation, and service termination. <br />\ _ Division 83 <br />v Water Distribution - <br />The Director of Public Works is the administrative officer responsible for this division of <br />the Public Works Department which is funded in the Water and Sewer Fund. <br />Employees of this division are responsible for the maintenance and operation of the <br />water distribution system within the City, including major water mains, smaller water <br />mains, service lines, and fire hydrants and valves. Employees maintain approximately <br />182.44 miles of water lines and 907 fire hydrants and install, repair, and calibrate a total <br />of 9,896 residential and commercial water meters used in the water distribution system. <br />�-� — — Division 85 <br />Sewer Maintenance - <br />The Director of Public Works is the administrative officer responsible for this division of <br />the Public Works Department which is funded in the Water and Sewer Fund. <br />Employees of this division are responsible for the maintenance and operation of all <br />wastewater collection lines within the City limits, maintaining approximately 188.26 <br />miles of gravity sewer lines, 9.28 miles of pressure sewer lines, and 1,506 manholes. <br />
