Chairman Pfiester
pointed out that you would be taking away from the underprivileged
who would not be able to use the Library. Mr. Wilson wanted to know
what the feelings are regarding approaching the county, because in
checking around, some of the other counties actually pay a portion of
that fee. Mr. Wilson pointed out that it is not fair for the citizens of
Paris to be paying for approximately $350,000.00 that is being used by
citizens that are not paying city taxes. Ms. Lewis advised that she
certainly was not opposed to this.
Mr. Baker asked about the mobile book service and how it is operated.
Ms. Lewis said the mobile book service serves two groups of people.
It serves the senior citizens by making visits to fourteen locations one
