PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING June 1, 1998 The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, June 1, 1998 at 5:30 in the City Hall - Council Room, Paris, Texas with the following members present: 1. Curtis Fendley 2. Bobby Myers 3. Louis Yates, Jr. 4. Cesar Horta 5. Michael Dangerfield 6. Joe McCarthy Earl Smith, the City Engineer and Scott Foster, the City Attorney, was also present. The meeting was called to order by Curtis Fendley. The minutes from the May 4, 1998, regular planning and zoning meeting were approved. The motion carried by a vote of 5 ayes and 0 nays. 2. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Kimberly Fasken for a change in zoning from a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF -1), Lots 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, 3G, 3H, 3I, 4, 5, 6, City Block 258, being number 2455 East Cherry Street. The public hearing was declared open. Kimberly Fasken, 3605 N.E. Loop 286, representing owner, James Hutchinson, spoke in favor of the petition. Contract is pending to improve property. No opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. 3. Consideration of and action on the petition of Kimberly Fasken for a change in zoning from a One- Family Dwelling District No. 2 (SF -2) to a Multiple - Family Dwelling District No. 1 (MF -1), Lots 3C, 3D, 3E, 3F, 3G, 3H, 3I, 4, 5, 6, City Block 258, being number 2455 East Cherry Street. Motion was made to remove item from the table by Bobby L. Myers and seconded by Mike Dangerfield. Motion carried 5 ayes and 0 nays. Motion to approve by Louis Yates, seconded by Cesar Horta. Motion carried 5 ayes and 0 nays.
